    Plan for my computer room

Well it's time to sort this damn computer room out.

You don't need to know what it's like now (it's a mess - that's all you need to know, lol.)

If you don't understand any of it just ask.

    What do you think?
    Kez.

The thing in the bottom right is firstly the chimney breast that goes downstairs (unused but need to keep the roof up - which is, I gather, important to keeping me dry,) and secondly it's the hot water cylinder cupboard.

As for TV - that's in my bedroom and unless I get an aerial from the roof fed into that computer room there is NO WAY I'll get a signal in there. The FCC would have a field day there's that much interference.

Actually it's more the issue of the TV interfering with the monitors and visa-versa due to the differing refresh rates.

Me thinks I'll leave the TV in me bedroom.

Pics as requested - it's not pretty.

This pic is looking towards the window. The desk there will be moved to the wall where the door is. Note the mess, and also the can of WD-40 - I aren't quite sure when I last used that.

Here we have the desk for the second computer, where the bookcase will be going instead.

Finally, where my desk will be going and the bookcase is currently. Note my shelf with most of my computer boxes on it, and the horrendous wallpaper border. Luckily I'm going with plain emulsioned paper instead of keeping the tigers and giraffes!

Personally, I'd want to put my main computer next to the window so I can look out and to reduce screen glare. Depends what kind of view you've got, I guess.

Venetian blinds have that sorted mate.

As for putting the cases under the desk - I'll make sure the one with the window is viewable - the other is a router box and isn't exaclty pretty in any way shape or form.
