Stop trying to build bleeding edge PCs then.

Did you have Scancare insurance?
Sorry to hear that mate, hope it heals up quick.
He will have to RMA the chunk for Replacement.
Accidents do happen even to the best of us atleast it was only your hand you damaged.

I always seem to get a little cut or bleed on a new build.
It's all part of that ritual of sacrificing blood to the PC gods in order for the system to be stable.
Worst I've had is a massive chunk out of my index finger, taken by a cheap SECC case with serated edges.
Well the Akasa Infinity is big.... but it's not clever.
It's clear why I was able to get it for around £50.
The gods always seem to demand a blood sacrifice whenever I've built a PC too.. for my next build I may just ritually strangle a rodent and leave it in one of the 5.25 bays as a votive offering instead... hopefully it'll save on the little cuts.
Cuts and scratches are one thing, this will scar though (cool )
Never scarred myself from building a PC (physically at least ) but have a nice one from an argument with a photocopier....
Cases are a lot better designed now, most with smooth edges. Older ones I used to put together used to come out with loads of cuts.
