    +1 on if you're going to take the powder then keep some lube handy (which for some reason made "leave the gun, take the cannoli" pop into my head)

    Well, it won't be hand luggage, it'll be in a suitcase.

    I'm going Egypt, and honestly, I dont think they sell it, and if they did, it would be pretty expensive, or crap.

    Its not just whether BAA will allow you its also down to individual countries restrictions on "imports". Milk ironically is a very sensitive raw material to some countries and this also applies to its by products (especially cheese), so my advice would be don't take it.
    If Wisdom is the coordination of "knowledge and experience" and its deliberate use to improve well being then how come "Ignorance is bliss"

    Went to Spain with protein powder in the hold. Was fine. I had it and didn't die. As is evident.

    It could have been cooked from the heat of the engines and you would have found out the hard whey.

    The problem with an open can is that you may come to the attention of the wheyts and measures people.

    Still, if you are determined, there are wheys and means.

    Re: Taking Opened Whey Protein in Luggage - Okay?

    There are whey too many puns in this thread - it's wheying heavily upon me...

    @SammEl:

    Don't forget that if you do get into trouble with your tin of mystery white powder you can always think to yourself:

    Regrets, I've had a few, but then again, too few to mention.
    I did, what I had to do, and saw it through, without exemption.
    I planned, each charted course, each careful step, along the bywhey,
    and more, much more than this, I did it my whey.

    (I'll get my coat)
