Anyone noticed that since updating to firefox 3.5.1 that the symbol for hexus in the bookmarks has become smaller than it once was?
I noticed this on my home and thought i was going mad until i update firefox on my laptop. Please tell me i'm not going mad lol
Nope, mine is smaller as well. I'm guessing it's using the first frame of the animated icon, or something similiar.
Funny you should mention that, I was just thinking about posting the problem seems 3.5.1 doesn't like animated icons.
Yup, it's grabbing the first frame as people suspected.
My advice is follow these three easy steps:
1. Download firefox source code
2. Fix it
3. # make install clean

None of the other bookmarks i have are animated, just hexus.

I gotta say, im not keen on the internet explorer style tab always there thing... i sometimes like the extra space on a page that i got when i used a fresh browser rather than a new tab... now its kinda enforced :/
that said, i have no other beefs with it, other than i noticed the favicon thing mentioned in this thread too...
You can turn that off in the options, I know because it irritated me aswell! Just go Tools -> Options -> Tabs -> Uncheck 'Always show tab bar'.
I'm also getting this bookmarks problem. I use the Smart Bookmarks Bar add-on so originally thought it was an issue with that but evidently not!

I love the new tab bar + sign!!! Saves me from goign to file > new tab lol
Or double click in the tab area to open, and middle click the tab to close it
