My Council tax bill has just decreased..just got the letter...

My Council tax bill has just decreased..just got the letter...

    It's gone down by £3.24!

LMAO, can't believe the waste of money in sending me a new bill, rearranging mu direct debits....

With that and the other house households in Surrey I bet that's quite a waste....

Wow £3.24 for a year wonder what I can do with it!

Re: My Council tax bill has just decreased..just got the letter...

I have never known council tax to actually go down. I am pretty sure last year we were supposed to be reassured because the increase was 'only' 3%.

I am pretty sure that a 3% increase per year equates to a doubling over a decade or so. Can somebody who is good at maths confirm that?

    first year pays 103%
    second pay 103/100 = 1.03 x 3 = 3.09% therefore 103%+3.09% = 106.09%
    third ahh i cba....
