    Drink Fueled?

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/8229420.stm

A woman taken to hospital with head injuries after being crushed by a metal lawn roller as she slept in a tent, is recovering at home.

Police arrested 21 men after the incident at Aberaeron Rugby Club in Ceredigion in the early hours of Saturday morning.
So all 21 have been bailed apparently.

How the f**k do you do something like that, 21 people to go along with it?

Who would assume the tent would be empty... it just grinds my gears, all i can think is it must have been the drink.

This fella goes into the Doctor's, he say's Doctor, I keep thinking I'm a Wigwam and a Teepee, and the Doctor says, Yep, you're obviously two tents.

Read it again. The police didn't say 21 people were involved, they said, according to the BBC:

"There were a lot of people there, they appealed for witnesses to try and whittle down who was responsible for the act. Unfortunately, nobody was coming forward.

"The witnesses at the time were unable to provide us with the information which could identify specific individuals, they could only identify a group responsible. And without anybody in that group admitting responsibility the officers had no option but to arrest them all and take them into custody."
Well, another option would have been not to arrest 21 people on the flimsiest of evidence. If I was innocent and got arrested because somebody fingered me as being part of a group, I''d be cheesed off in the extreme.

Hope the woman makes a full recovery though. TBH, she could have been hurt worse than that in a rugby match....

TBH, she could have been hurt worse than that had someone pushed the roller a bit harder over her head....

    So damn lucky.

What else were they going to do? Leave them all to dissapear and become untraceable? Pick one or 2 of them at random to arrest?

Regretably BBC don't keep revision history, but the article had expanded a lot on what it was originally when i quoted!

you'd be cheesed off... how the [deleted expletive] do you think that woman feels?

dont wanna be arrested... let the police know who did it...

to be honest with-holding who did this is as bad as commiting the offence, so I wouldnt exactly say they were "innocent", would you?

as for her getting more injured ina rugby match... yeah, maybe... that'll probably why she chooses not to enter them... choice was taken away from her getting injured in this case by these muppets!
