What i want to know is say it worked for you and suddenly the power went off before the release noise.

What would have happened to you.

He said it only lasted a few minutes anyway so it would have just worn off on its own accord.

dont be so sceptical..... I got stuck, infact im still stuck, it took me 12 hours to bite my Sofa in half so I could shuffle it to the PC room to be able to post.

The good news is its quite a comfortable sofa so I dont mind sitting on it for the past 12 hours.... the bad news is I take my morning ablutions at 8am each morning like clockwork . I will post a picture to prove it when I manage to drag my sofa upstairs to get my digi cam.

I think the very worst case scenario is you sleep it off. I'm guessing most people would just forget about it half way through whatever trash was next on Channel 4 and just get up.

Edit: Forgot you said power went off, but same thing really whatever you end up doing.

lol - maybe I should have checked what was on before posting. It wasn't such an unreasonable assumption for C4 though...
