Re: Things that wind you up (no matter how small)

So i want to get off the train I am on, the doors open and everyone on the platform just stand there right infront of the doors, or even worse, start trying to get on before I get off. Heaven forbid they have to wait for 30 seconds to let everyone off. 3/5 in the annoyance scale.

Im driving along, its quiet busy, so I let a car out in front of me. The driver of said car completely ignores me and my gesture. RAARRRGH 5/5

Probably what winds me up more than anything are little things that you can't control like when you're driving down a long straight road and you can see traffic lights on green way in distance, then they change to red JUST as you get there...grrrr

Chavs who cross the road slowly when you are driving past and have to slow down.

Busses who consistantly think they have the right of way

Xfactor being on at Prime time both saturday and sunday, just end the pain - let the 2 little Mutants win and hope thats the end of it!

but i guess the biggest for me has been mentioned - when you give someone the right of way on the road (even if its your right of way) and they just completely blank you

Good thread, I have loads but I'd spend an age typing them.

People that have restless leg syndrome (lecture stalls carry vibrations and its OH SO annoying.)
    People that walk slowly
    People that breathe heavily
People that constantly say "like" between every other friggin' word
People that smell (read bad B.O) on public transport
People that insist on getting onto the train before letting people off (PS. Trains not going to leave without you, idiots)
Oh and already stated, TV volume being on uber loud - that does my head in (Adverts are always louder too! Its as if they are shouting at you while you bugger off to do something else; part of the reason I stopped watching telly zzz)

    People.

    That is all.
    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Councillors and planning officers who allow terrible people to build terrible things in lovely places.
Plus the terrible people of course.

My landlord who announces that he is going to 'fix' X and Y when we didn't ask for it (it's the electrical this Saturday, which means that we need to clear the fridge and I am going to need to find somewhere else to write my report). And yet when it's something we ask for, it takes at a bare minimum of 5 weeks to get sorted. Can the landlord even come in and start changing the lights, painting the walls and all that stuff while the tenants are in?

Would agree, that too, never understood the point of doing that. But relatively, that irks me less than the former.

People who do not wash often enough, that have pungent body odour and not only do not care enough to not have, but half the tiem dont even notice as they are so used to their BO wafting around after them...

Re: Things that wind you up (no matter how small)

    Things that wind me up ;

People who do not know their post code and have to ask their wife for it. It's not blooming rocket science is it to remember a post code. I was held up in the post office recently as the guy at the front of the queue wanted his parcel to have his address on in case it was undelivered. He didn't know his postal code so had to ring his wife on his phone, and this too was painful to watch as he couldn't work his phone and was holding it up in the air while trying to navigate the menus and find his contacts.

People that ask for advice and then do not listen to a word you say. Yeah, you've asked for advice on a problem etc and because the answer is not the one you do not want to hear, instead of listening and thinking about it looking at the problem/issue from various angles you just downright ignore any advice and try to sort it in their way, making it even worse than before

Slow walking people who walk in a zig-zag fashion. For god sake, walk in a straight line so us speed walkers can get past you without having to dodge you and your trolley waving round the supermarket. Speaking of supermarkets, all people that cannot push trolleys and clip your ankles - kill them all. Poor mannered staff on the checkout who look as interested in their job as I do on the causes of Atheltes foot. Yes lovely, you might be hungover and counting down the time till you can go out binge drinking, but for god sake smile at work and talk instead of grunting.

People who murmur when they talk or talk in a monotonous tone. Usually it's young people this time and my theory is that MSN chat has affected the younger generations ability to speak and so has SMS as it appears that some of the youngsters now have developed a 1 tone yeeah like riiiight style of speaking.

I've plenty more to add to this, I could go on for hours but I'll stop in fear of raising my blood pressure and also lowering the mood on hexus.
