JPreston, a water cannon is kinder in my mind than the "projectiles" the protesters keep claiming to be using (they brag about it in their press publications).

They shouldn't be in range of the water jets.

They shouldn't have cross illegally in front of them, they deserve what they got and it just goes to show, regardless of how you feel about whaling, south park where right, these guys are total douches who are a hazard to themselfs which is fine by me, but they are also a hazard to others, this is not fine.

Oh and the fricken hippies who gave them money, well with luck they won't be able to afford a guardian subscription next year.

The water jets are a legal response to the entirely illegal containers of acid, etc, hurled by the protesting pirates. It is also worth noting that the Ady Gil was trying to manouevre in order to foul the Jap's prop with a rope, and disable their ship in the Southern Ocean. They deserved everything they got - disabling a ship down there is the action of lowlife scum.
