ok guys...im pretty ticked of, it turns out who ever is doing this has my psn account aswell!! im going to troll through all my accounts and change details, ive got every reason to belive some malware has caused this....i did a virus scan and avast picked up some malware...odd that malwarebytes didnt pick it up! im in the process of getting my psn account back, that shouldnt be to much of a problem...i hope

hm, guys ive a problem...steam emailed me and told me they have reset the password and would send an email with the password separate...but ive got no email and i think they sent it to his! this is just great....

You should have created a brand new email, along with proof that you're the owner of the account, like the photograph of a CD Key of a game that you have registered on Steam, if you have done, I don't think Steam would have a problem sending the new password to the new email address.

Furthermore, if you believe they've sent the password to the wrong address, notify Steam as soon as possible.

do i have to create a new email account? ive so many different things linked to it would be such a pain surely me changing the password and secret answer should be enough?

no......ive got an email from the 11th confirming the change over of details, shamefull on me for not checking my emails untill today! little "*"(*(!&&! im not impressed i swear if i find out who he/she is im so angry i cant play my games thanks for helping anyway

Was your steam account not verified with your email address? Normally if any changes are made to your account (like change of email/password) then a code is emailed to your verified email address only which then needs to be entered, this should of protected you unless of course your verified email address was hacked as well?
