In answer to both what I do, and what my dad does
I'm older than I was when I joined hexus many moons ago - although I'm told I look younger than I am.
I am a professional web developer (E-commerce Agency - you'll have used the sites) UX Designer/UI Developer and Usability expert-in-training.
Next on my list is a Masters and Chartered Engineer status.
My dad is THE man to know if you need to know about contactless smart cards in transport ticketing. Anything he doesn't know about Oyster cards and the like isn't worth knowing.
I'm an environmental scientist.
Student @ College and hoping to be off to uni to study Philosophy & politics combined honours - with the aim of following it up with an MA. Job wise, Christ knows, seems working for the civil service after i eventually leave the incubator of education will be pretty hard, teaching maybe ?
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
Teacher of Mathematics.. oh the joy..

For a fastener and fixing supplier, sending stuff all over the UK, europe and the world, including Ghana, Burkina Faso, Barbados, Reichlin and cover from ~Louth, ~Manchester, ~Birmingham and ~North Yorkshire moors regularly. That is by no means the be all and end all as we travel beyond and have delivered to all sorts of places including the London Olympic site and Sellafield etc.
Holding the world together wherever we go
At the end of the year i will be at uni studying computer hardware and software engineering.
i volunteer at shopmobility and could run the place on my own if i wanted (which i have done in the past), the office side of it is a bit mundane at times, the workshop side is better because i get to hit things with a hammer.
i like hitting things with hammers
uses for a hammer on repairing a mobility scooter:
- straightening bent bodywork
- loosening nuts and bolts
- removing wheels with the aid of a 4 foot length 2x4
- adjusting things
i also occasionally drive around town on a scooter/power chair/wheelchair because it saves walking and im a lazy so and so.
______
can't mention what my dad does, because we cant advertise stuff and i dont want to get into the inevitable discussion about that particular subject which seems popular on here at times. (its not religion)
I'm 35 and work in a pre-school as a leader, I also run the after school club there, hoping to start a foundation degree in playwork in September....
As for my Daddy, He used to drive a wagon delivering beer all over the country, then as a mechanic, before becoming a manager at Dairy Crest, After his plant closed he went back to being a mechanic He passed away in 1995 of a heart attack.... RIP Daddy!
