I would like to put myself forward for biggest fail at an interview... sitting in front of HR, and two managers and being asked what I know about the company (Vauxhall)...only to respond (mouth in gear, brain not) that the department i was looking at working for (managers were head of) lost £68 million last year last due to some poor decision making. I then realised what I had just said to them (and the fact that 2 of them ran that department), blurted out an apology which they found rather funny, before they repeated the question except adding ''that doesn't classify us as inept at the end of it''

I got through that round but got knocked out two rounds later.

My friends brother was finishing an interview and on his way out opened the cupboard door thinking it was the exit...........pretty bad interview fail in my opinion.
