Websense is a shocking program. It breaks far too often.

Never had experience of WebSense but it was always the "alternative" product to the one we have used - Surf Control's content filtering.

Out of the box it has a "bypass proxy" setting to allow clients to go unhindered to the Windows Update sites.

TBH websense isn't half as bad as the proxy - Microsoft ISA - about as stable as a pogostick in a hurricane.

Which is a pain when you're a web developer...
