it might be that her phone was stolen, and someone dumped the memory card for the sake of not getting caught.... getting it back to her might put you in the situation where you finger yourself for something you didnt do

Joking apart, put yourself in the shoes of the owner. If it was your GF that you had taken the photos of - and you had lost them - how would you feel like explaining how you lost them and that there is a risk that they could end up on some website? Or if you were the girl, how would you be feeling about the loss of something so personal?
Well that would be the kindest thing to do - obviously not posting any photos of a personal nature!
