I would just really like to know what was going through the woman's mind.

I would like to know as well tbh, while what she did was wrong and I dont condone it, I could certainly sympathise with her under certain circumstances.
For instance, where I like there are over a dozen cats in the immediate area, they wonder around as and when they please, <language!>, fighting in the night and wondering over the garden and sitting where they know my dogs cant get them and just staring at the dogs, this as you can imagine sets the dogs off a treat, and two GSD's are quite loud.
They breed like rabbits as well, bloody things are vermin imho when left to there own devices, can you imagine how much of an earache I'd get if I left my dogs out all day and night and they wondered off <language!>everywhere and wondering thru peoples gardens and annoying other peoples dogs, RCPCA would be round here like a shot, yet with cats people let it go...
On another point, the police have said that no criminal offence was committed, although they have said they will stand by the RSPCA's decision.
And now apparently this woman has had her house and property attacked by people, in the eyes of the law they should be the ones in the wrong and should be treated accordingly, bloody mobs rule, sod all to do with them yet there quite happy to go nuts over a woman putting a cat in a bin...

Chances are she could be a neighbor and the cats been doing 1s and 2 all over her lawn or vegetable patch, and as we all know some older people do crazy things, like the bloke who drove into my old car at speed then denied doing it while his car was still adjoined to mine and still had his foot on the accelerator as if trying to push my now handbraked car forward.
The rodents used to sleep on my car bonnet during the winter leaving scratches on the paint work, I'd have done more then just put them in the bin had I caught one!Amateur effort, I'd have filled the bin with water. A brick on top would have suitably finished the catstew suprise! Eat that PETA.
Those of you complaining about cats in your areas, are in effect complaining about their owners, I suggest you take your argument up with them.
Disgusted with most of this thread tbh; logging out.

As a cat owner I have to say I'm appaled by the ladies actions, Lola seems like a lovely cat.
Secondly I don't like some of the posts in here, normally I find Madducks image postings amusing, BUT in this instance it's in rather poor taste. I'm sure there's no harm intended in it but its still rather in poor taste all the same.
I know there are some people who do not like cats, thats fair enough thats you problem, if thats the case then leave the cats alone, they haven't harmed you.
Well the internet's dealt with her:
Cat-trashing lady outed by internet in less than 24 hours
Your right Behemoth, i could never put a cat in a bin myself - i mean, is it garden waste or non-recyclable for a start?!

I think some peoples reaction to this is outrageous. I've got 2 cats and I know some people don't like cats. But it doesn't justify this sort of thing.
I don't like a lot of things but I don't react to them. i mean how'd you like it if I kicked your dog or shot your kids with an air rifle?! You wouldn't and i don't.
