Talking What I had done yesterday....

Well after ages of thinking about it (due to pain factor) yesterday I plucked up the courage and got a Brazillian wax

Must say although it did hurt a bit (ok more than a bit) it was no where near as bad as I thought it would be and the pain was gone within 20 seconds.

Anyone else had one done? Or another area waxed? Experiences please

Honestly wasn't that bad lynni. I have a rather low pain threshold and while there was a couple of bits that had me grit my teeth I will be going back in 4 weeks to get it done again

Same sorta feeling as whipping a plaster off basically lol

LOL are you aware you're proloning the pain then

I know you can't live by this theory yet, but mine is, I gave birth twice a little piercing/tattoo/waxing pain is nothing

Although the waxing probably hurt less than your worst period you mentioned

lol I understand, I hate inflicting pain on myself in any way (meaning me doing it, not a tattooist etc) that's why I went to a professional

    LOL you sadist

Never again will I let someone put a needle in my hand Now that is something that f*****g hurts Just because they couldn't find a vein in my arm Knew it was going to hurt like hell when she said "now this is going to hurt a little" instead of the "this may be a bit uncomfortable" that they tend to say if it's going to hurt a fair bit.

I have thought about waxing, but didn't want to pay much for the pain, so got one of those home kit thingies. They're useless, you just get sticky, painful and the hair is left behind!!

Without picking on you, TeePee, because that remark was bound to happen sooner or later, let me say here and now that this is exactly what this forum DOES NOT NEED.

This is a ladies forum, and it doesn't need the blokes in here oggling. The idea is for the ladies to be comfortable in here, and if we're going to have what I would class as a "teenage" response, they might have well have posted in GD.

Blokes, your presence here is very tentative. A bit of respect for the ladies please, or this forum goes 'Ladies Only' and the blokes get locked out. When posting, err on the side of courtesy, please.

£7.50 every 4 weeks can be my little treat to myself

I think I'd prefer the £7.50 on a HUUUGE bar of choccy or a bottle of wine...

/me uses the cream method to get that desired effect. I only Wax legs... anything else sounds waaaay too painful *ouch*
