I hear ya Flash!!
I turn the radio off now as soon as I hear one of them Go Compare adverts!!! Grrrr Boils my piss!
The Go Compare ads have actually managed to grow on me!
The first two that came to mind that I would avoid due to their ads - Mikado and Lynx. Especially the first. Oh, and the Vauxhall ads with the C'mon doll.
No trees were harmed in the creation of this message. However, many electrons were displaced and terribly inconvenienced.
dreams beds the advert with someone playing with a toy helicopter on it.
Toyota Yaris - whose owners were depicted as being particularly spiteful.

Totally hate the current berocca advert at the moment with the two sweaty fat workies dancing on a log.
Just remembered, not really because of an advert, but flat out refuse to ever buy anything Nike again. I know they're surely not the only ones who use child labour, but after watching Philip Knight's attitude when interviewed about it several years back, i certainly wont be buying again.
Sorry for the thread revival but I wanted to add Compare the Market to this list, that flippin' Compare the Meerkat thing is a terrible joke taken waay, waay too far...
Vauxhall
Renault
Activia
Boots
...off the top of my head
apple - without saying
get lost ....i mean go compare
webuyanycar
not all vodafone adds are bad, i actually enjoyed watching this one few times over
I have just seen the new megane ad, and it is funny enough, especialy the guy on about it being a pulling car: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rNyDhea2XOc
Ads that do wind me up are the compare the market ones, they have gone on too long now, and the go compare ones, they are just stupid.

Dear Lord ... where did you hear this ?
I don't think it's as much about "attracting" as making the brand stick in your head. I'm not fond of Go Compare adverts either ... sadly they must work, as they keep making new versions.
Wickes. Any other ad where middle class advertising executives hire a working class voice to imply a no-nonsense quality to a product/service.
Any ad that captures the interest with beautiful cinematography or semi-thoughtful philosophical musings, and you're just on the edge of your seat wondering what on earth this could be an advert for, and ... it's for some poxy car.
Harvester restaurants - because a long time ago they used the song "Harvest For The World" in one of their adverts.
The punchable man in the Halifax adverts.
Bore Lord Gary Lineker in the Crisp ads - but I purchase and eat the crisps regardless.
