Seeing as I have a distinctly bah-humbug attitude to the commercialisation of Christmas, I'd guess it won't taken a rocket scientist to deduce my reaction to the commercialism and gross Americanisation of Halloween. But in case anyone doesn't guess, I'm in the "batten down the hatches and pretend you aren't in" group.

If people want to dress up and go have a good time, great. Just don't bang on my door in the process, no matter how old a big kid you are.

I'm with Saracen and all the other Humbugs out there. I despise having the doorbell ring, having to get up from my comfy chair and stand in the freezing cold doorway trying to get silly children to quit darkening my doorstep with their inane, off-key singing (yes there's even an exceptionally annoying 'Hop-tu-naa' song over here [Hop-tu-naa is the Manx word for All Hallow's Eve]). Go away you blighters!

I took the dingers out of my doorbell to make sure it didn't go off this year.

hehe, I dressed up as Darth Maul and did some DJing at a house party on Saturday and my girlfriend dressed as princess leia...

Nice outfits

I didn't dress up, just bought a glow in the dark "Scream" mask that proved popular. Who knew. I think other people spent wearing it longer than I did. lol.

Saturday night rolled into Sunday morning for me in Osaka...Started off with free beers at someone's dorm, into town seeing a whole load of crazy people dressed up (there is a drunken video on my phone so...it's probably of the night sky or floor...), onto Vano (really crap dance club), then to Club Rock. The latter club was awesome, spent around 4 hours just moshing away and windmilling. My neck still aches though my legs have recovered. After Club rock was a bar, called Cinquintento (sp?) followed by a trip to Yoshinoya at 6am and home by 7am of the Sunday.

Probably the best Halloween night I've had so far.



P.S. for those that are curious, the blog is being worked on but I am getting less and less spare time to do...well...anything on it.
