    Damn this skin!

Those of you taht have seen a picture of me will know what a devastatingly good looking fella I am.

Well, you can all feel a little less envious now, cos I have got a dirty great spot coming up, right on my jaw line.

I nearly bled to death this morning when I nicked it with the razor... I'm not so sure this thing isn't a second nose growing or something.

What the hell do I put on it to make it go away? Its one of those nasty hard centered ones... it'll take ages to mature by which time I'll have wittled it away with the razor and lost 7 or 8 pints of blood...

    Blighted? You betcha!

Seriously, though, I've never found any of the various nostrums and potions to work on something like that; just keep it clean, try not to nick it and let it either explode or fade of its own accord - oh, and don't let anyone get between you and a mirror. Word to the wise is all.

Get some of that liquid soap handwash stuff and stick a blob of it over the spot. Leave it for a while, preferably overnight and it should get a fair bit better.
Please don't take this as indication that i'm a spotty bastard.

I'm on Benzoyl Peroxide 5% gel and some pills with an amazingly long name - Oxytetracycline, I think.

Cleared me spots up a treat, with only a bit of redness when I started. Probably not needed for a single massive red-spot though, and takes a good while to get things sorted.

Freeze it, and hack that bad boy off.

one off spots can be treated with a) anticeptic dettol spray b) witch hazel and then c) OXY - on the spot cream, leave over night et voila!

    i'm pretty near spotless now!

Don't boast too soon! All through my teens I was really lucky and had very few spots. Now that I'm 25 I constantly get the bloody things on my chin

A little blob of toothpaste on offending particle is supposed to help.

another vote for toothpaste, not too much though as when come to take it off can rip the whole damn thing out! a little smidgen on clean un-moisturised skin before bedtime and gently washed off in the morning. Toothpaste dries it out and prevents it from developing.

I was on some form of anti-biotic for two years, and ive been on Oxytetracilline for about 3 month now and ive become compleatly immune(sp?) to anti-biotics. I wouldnt reccomend these tablets to everyone, as now when i get an infection im pretty much screwed Ive still got about 6 packs of Oxytetracilline left, altho i dont take them anymore.

Get a biro , (one of the bero transparent ones?) either use the lid or take out the ink pen bit inside, use the little hole to pump em out! Leaves little circle marks temporarily but its soooo satisfying!

when i get spots i just fill a sink with warm/hot water and bout the whole soap bar then just wash my face in that a few times, twice a day does the trick for me. takes about 3 days to clear them up then just keep doing it twice everyday and u dont get them at all, or not much!
    cheap and slow yet effective.
i learnt this in biology our teacher is cool he jsut talks about acne and hair growth all the time lol
