Natasha should have gone last week. I think her card was marked and it only needed her to appear in the boardroom again.

Melody was all talk, trained to talk. She had a really condescending manner and if she wasn't acting like a complete , she'd just agree you to death. I either wanted her gone as soon as possible, or get hammered in the interview.
Natasha's most offensive feature was her hairstyle, she looked way too aggressive. Full of enthusiasm but when it came down to it, completely useless. And aggressive. More BS than even Jim. Can't say as I liked her much.
It really didn't matter which order they went, they both had to go. Shame we couldn't have had another double termination!
^Well, Natasha's gone this week, so that's that. Natasha was more deserving to leave last week, but Melody, in my opinion, should've left for Paris task and I was astounded they actually praised her. I would've been gutted if Tom & Helen's team had lost and one of them would've had to go this week. For some reason I was kinda sure that the duo would pull through though. I became even more convinced when Susan mentioned something about 3 minds being better than 2 (I thought it might've been a way to trick/hint the viewer).
Indeed, and unless the editing was misleading, they had 3 days for quite a task. It was interesting that none of the judges mentioned the Columbus thing. Could it be that no one was sure? In other tasks judges usually pick up those kind of things even if they do not penalise the team too harshly Though even in the boardroom, they raised the issue with Caracas, but left Columbus out of it.

Yeah that was pretty ruthless and I expected her to get Sugar wrath. Gob-smacked when it went the other way. Shows how much I know.
There wasn't any question that they wouldn't win in my mind. Their idea was simple and easy to deliver, if sickening in design.I would've been gutted if Tom & Helen's team had lost and one of them would've had to go this week. Maybe we've adopted him at some point, we do it for tennis playersIndeed, and unless the editing was misleading, they had 3 days for quite a task. The Columbus thing may have been brought up but left out with editing, they may have felt that raising the issue earlier in the show was enough?? I don't get why nobody thought to check on their fancy phones they've been given???? The Caracas Blunder too, 30 seconds on the phone could have showed them it was a city in another country
Glad Tom and Helen won through, one of those 2 will be the winner i expect. Jims bull surely means he's first out the door........
Internet isn't allowed - why else would they fail so badly at the 'buy items from this list' type tasks?
I mean before there was anything to go by. I am sure it was a lucky guess though, I am not suggesting that there is any fixing going on. Saying that, 3v2 really stacks in favour of the 3 member team - the other team each has to work 50% harder to make up for the difference so it's kind of an "upset" win all else being equal (which is obviously never the case).
Another thing I like about Helen and Tom is that they both seem pretty mature / professional. Despite what Helen said about "still learning to forgive Tom" last week, based on what was shown, there was no friction between the two this week. Yes she had her reservations about letting Tom do all the design etc., and despite asking him to keep her constantly updated, she wasn't calling him every 10 minutes to check what he was doing (AFAWK).
The bickering between Susan and Natasha hasn't been pretty, and I am not just talking about this week only (when the stakes are so high).
In reality, in spite of wikipedia says, it is not really known where Columbus was born. It is very probable that he was born in Genoa, but there is no real evidence for this and there is disputed evidence, from his son none the less!
So most probably from Genoa but in reality not really known.

To be honest I think it is probably sure that he was from Genoa but a few historians have speculated that he could in fact be British.
You should read, if you can find a copy of "De Jure Maritimo et Navali" from Charles Molloy (1682). There is gives some hints why he could have been british.
