1. How much money the media is making on the back of all this by flaming the fires of what is really only an emotional over-reaction

2. Why people are naive enough to think anything will change

3. By what logic is it ok to hack say Hugh Grants phone, but not Millie Dowlers

4. What else is happening out there that is being buried by this media storm

and finally...

5. Why people are utterly blind to the simple fact that we are ALL responsible for creating this situation

1. It's not about the money. It's about who has been burned.

2. If this sort of thing isn't challenged, change for the worse will be like a runaway train.

5. We're not responsible for the reprehensible methods used by some journos. The public rightly have an appetite for information but no-one wants it obtained in the manner being exposed.

21. Tedious fiction writers will continue to write tripe and get handsomely paid for it. Instead of 'predicting' the obvious, couldn't those razor-sharp brains be used to proffer solutions instead of sneering, childish, immediately forgettable commentary? Yawn.

More seriously, I've not been following it, just catching it when it makes the front headlines on the main news as I walk past and lately it has not been.

I was, however, interested to see what came of the allegations against the mirror.
