This made me laugh.
So the home secretary is coming back from Holiday. BoJo also had to cut his holiday short. David Cameron is getting a flight back from his holiday in Italy.
Maybe some consideration for all the people who haven't been able to afford a holiday in this recession would be nice.
Apparently he's drafting his talk on how 'the big society' is a success.
What would you suggest? That he teleports here?

Just found out they've robbed the JD sports and burnt down a mc donalds in Wembley which is about 10mins drive from me. Hmmm getting a bit too close to me now. Seriously wtf?? Are all these idiots terrorist sleeper agents and have been activated by some ingenious mastermind?
Well, I hope that this doesn't carry on tomorrow, but if it does, I'll be out with a camera exercising my legal right to aim it at anyone who's out in public. I may or may not get assaulted for my efforts. If I do, I plan to give better than I get. Here's hoping it doesn't come to that.

Now that I think about it maybe a media blackout for this would have been a better idea. It wouldn't have promoted it.

With anarchy kicking off and worsening since Saturday, the earliest an emergency meeting can be held is Tuesday? It seems we're quick enough to respond to situations overseas but when it happens on our own turf, we're ill prepared and ill equipped.
Must have been pretty scary for the police involved!
