Well me and Nick 'Don't taze me bro' were joking about the riots and starting a kick-ass style pact on Facebook....and they've suspended me and a few of the people who were commenting.
Seems that Facebook don't like people even joking about being a vigilante. Or maybe it was the thought of us in spandex that's offended them.

FWIW, water cannons aren't a "nice" piece of kit. They don't just get you a bit damp. I'd link to the picture of the guy whose eyeball got knocked out after water cannons were deployed in Stuttgart, but I'd get rightfully banned for posting gore pics like that.

Except that it's not legal for members of the public. The only thing allegedly legal is this kind of stuff: http://www.stop-attack.co.uk/farbgel_information.htm. If it's a mob though, you are probably just going to piss off the others.
This is a jokeArmy needs to be brought in or Police need to up their game, this has to end. It should never have reached this stage.
However I dont think its all just scum and criminals acting, quite a lot of youth in many of those areas don't have much to live for, lack of education, jobs, broken families, youth programs cut (still not an excuse to act in such a way) but the government should see how they can tackle these underlying grievances otherwise it might happen again.
