I have to say, this is a chaotic world
Just crawled out of bed, still not got it settled. Next time the Police predict "Christmas for criminals" let's listen to them them, eh?
Kickass anyone?

Interesting POV from the coppers side. As usual they're ready to go and whitehall is wringing their hands.
I had a corking daily mail style rant, but really, there's no point. I'll go with the correct attitude is the closing line in the opening scene of pulp fiction.
Anyone down there (and now that 'down' seems to be anything past Newcastle!), take care and don't take any stupid risks. Goods can be replaced, life and limb cannot.
I heard the sony warehouse in enfield explode last night, it started around midnight their was about 5 different explosions, I can still see the smoke now from the back garden. we're all doomed

It's laughable at the number of otherwise ordinary people who suddenly think the correct response to civil disorder is to go out onto the streets and start beating up the rioters. Sure, if you really must take the law into your own hands, go stand guard outside your home or your business, but to actively *seek* trouble out, well... you're no better than the rioters.

This is bunny and friends. He is fed up waiting for everyone to help him out, and decided to help himself instead!

That's really not a good idea mate.
I was reading a story of a photographer who almost got stabbed, was chased down by a group of them and had to sprint for the police line with only one shoe.
Also, I think this pretty much sums up the general intelligence of the rioters.

I blame the politicians for not loosing the police properly.
I did a double take at the Home sec this morning.

That statement is tantamount to "we'll ask them to stop nicely, and if that doesn't work, well...then....I'll tell their mums"
Edit: Let's see what the official statement says, due soon I believe.
I find it interesting to see how the police are working here. Over in northern ireland, 20 people protesting = plastic bullet rounds, water cannons and basically beating the utter tripe out of them.
London = people burning the city to the ground, looting, petrol bombs and basically just wrecking the place! And your police just watch? And im sorry to say that watching is all I could see the police doing in the news.
Perhaps you should borrow 2000 of our police ?
