Man, that takes me back to my early 80s flamable aerosol days. Not that I condone any of this.

We used to make shotguns - steel pipe, pop a 12-bore cartridge in the end, slot it into a big wooden block with a groove cut out to hold the pipe, six inch nail in the other end of the block (firing pin)
Hammer - nail - booom
What was the recoil like on one of those dude?
suprisingly small actually Knox. The only danger was that the whole assembly had a nasty habit of swinging and pointing in risky directions as the hammer impacted with the nailOriginally Posted by Knoxville
Ah them were the days
AND
The drainpipe bazooka
1 2metre length of drainpipe
1 box of vampire rocket fireworks
Mucho fun - apart from the time I aimed a bit too high and the lit rocket dropped out of the drainpipe behind me and went off at my feet...

Not that I've tried it and gained a 2 ft flame or anything

2ft? Amateur. Try a big can of WD40 with the little red pipe in place- you can feel the heat on your face even if you hold it at arm's length. A 6ft flame is easily doableOriginally Posted by Howard

I can just picture it now. The strange kid in the street, he starts walking down the road with his new 'water gun', and everyone is running inside locking the doors
Look what I made
