... after reading through the as/a2 results thread it seems there are quite a few hexus-people (hexusians??) going to soton uni.. so well thought i should be making a thread about you guys, so basically post what you're doing there, and anything else which might be useful/relevant/humourous ... i'll be doing Comp Science (MENG?!) with AI so should be alright, doubt they'll let me make a Terminator robot and send it back in time to kill anyone but i can always dream eh?

i live right next to the uni, (don't go there) it's a great town and loads to do, a pretty safe area with a half good night life and shops... any info you want mate just ask!

well i guess i'll wait til i get there and im sure the questions will come flooding in... its wierd i didnt think there were many people going to soton from my college other than my gf, but about 4 or 5 of my mates are going there too (but to do electronically-type stuffs) and there seem to be another handful on hexus too hopefully we can have some hexus lan battles (hl2/doom3 type stuff when i get some ££ to get a decent comp)

I didn't actually go to Soton but know many peeps who did.

Sotonites, does the 'Frog and Frigate' still do its thing at the weekends (sing-a-long-a-Derek - up on the tables etc)? Must have rolled out of that place about 20 times in my gap year, now I'm local (ish) again I'll have to go back if it's still any good.
