    Your own language?

I find me and my mates speak a language unlike any other: So I made a rhesus dictionary to help with translations:
Read it, you may get a laugh out of it!

THERE IS STRONG LANGUAGE ON THIS SITE.
Don't click if you're scared of commonly over used swear words and or life.
    http://www.rhesusrock.com/dic.htm

Do any of you on here use any of these????

that's rather.........hmm... crap. I have been known to use a few of them, so you're not *totally* unique.

We have a few group sayings and *in* jokes too, but i couldnt list them all, they're generally spontaneous.

    Well thanks Elmo.
I never said I was unique, I have an American friend who's coming to visit jan next year so I thought I'd prepare her for the phrase we use rather than the eubonics she uses.

I'm sure your group phrase are really cool and unique. But they can't be phrases unless they're used often, making them un(in?)spontaneous, doesn't it?

no, they're often used, but not at the forefront of one's mind. In that during a conversation you suddenly remember something that has been said previously and repeat it and so on. Hence.... spontenuity. I also didnt say ours were "cool" or "unique" nor did i suggest that.

oh, and by saying "me and my mates speak a language unlike any other" suggests you regard them as being different and abnormal. [edit: "them" being your phrases, not your mates]

Don;t make me quote you but yo say you use "some" of our quotes. I very much doubt ANYONE uses every phrase we use thus making it, unlike any other. bear in minid all regional dialects are ublike any other, although to the untrained ear Wolverhampton sounds just like Birmingham.

They may not be at the forefront of ones mind, but when making a translation guide, it's important to remember everything. Blatently.

Umm... used a few of them, and some slightly different.

Guesstamate: I thought this was pretty much universal.
Yute: Have been known to use the phrase "Yoof" for much the same thing.
Parkie: Surprisingly similar to "Pikey", little scrote or chav I suppose.
Distinct lack of: Yeah, used this.
*Insert something here* Me: Home simpson uses this "Duff me"
Muchos: Again, I thought this was fairly common place.

Liked Beer explosion, would be a good description of a few nights out. As for the area, well I suppose west London, but possibly Nottingham(uni). Not sure where you pick up your pub vocab from.
They told me I was gullible ... and I believed them.
