I've had a few jolts, thrown items across the room, etc.

    Glad you're OK.

Been shocked off the mains a fair few times now (5 iirc) just tends to leave me with an achey arm and make me slightly more thankful for fuses

Several people a year die putting 9v batteries on their tongues for that 'fuzzy' feeling...

    Apparently!

I got an electric shock from a faulty dishwasher in a kitchen I once used to work in, sent me flying half way across the room into the fridges.

After that, I never held onto the stainless steel sink and tried turning it on with wet hands ever again!

Maybe I'm just lucky (Or very careful. ), but I've never been shocked by anything more than a capacitor from the flash of a disposable camera. And I plan to keep it that way.

its a sscary feeling but hlpe your ok.

I think the worse is when your hand is in a case and a finger wanders into a fan. It doesnt really hurt (unless a big mainframe one) but the noise scares the poo out of you
