Little issues that annoy the hell out of you

This thread is dedicated to all those little things that whilst not very annoying still bug you.

    I'll start with:

    1. People playing with your perfectly set toaster browning control that took days to set just right, then when the cornflakes run out you find all your toast blackened beyond recognition.

    2. Buying a bottle of coke in anticipation for the weekend for addition to vodka for an evening in with the missus, then finding said bottle 3/4 gone in the living room with the top missing.

    3. The local methodist church practicing their bellringing AT 9.30 AM EVERY SUNDAY!! Arrrrrrghh!

    Your go.

    1) People who dont indicate when turning left or right at a junction.
    2) When you get something new, and do something to it so that it is broken in some way....such as, you get a new phone and drop it on the very first day....a tiny scratch that no one else can see but you know its there. Or i got a new bed cover the other day, putting the duvets in i caught a little bit and ripped the bottom....very first time of use...

Man. So many things wind me up. My mates and GF are always winding me up about it.

    - THAT nokia ring. The really old one that people STILL use. The one that Dom Jolly uses in the "HELLO! NO! I'M IN THE LIBRARY!".
    - Cheese "flavour". Generally it means **** food which I tend to stay away from anyway, but man that's annoying. Someone must have thought that up in a marketing meeting.
    - General Electric adverts that claim they look after people when in addition to making lightbulbs they also make nuclear bombs. Yeah, thanks for that.
    - People who dont ****ING LEARN HOW TO USE ATMS! I mean, everyone has to use them roughly the same number of times. Why are people so stupid as to not learn the process? Sometimes people just stand there and expect it to turn into a court jester or something. Like they are not able to fathom what button they will have to press next.
    - The use of the word "juxtaposed" in art galleries. This word is not used anywhere else. It's not big and it's not clever.
    - (Londoners one only this). People that press the door open button on tubes. IT DOESNT ((((ING DO ANYTHING! CANT YOU FIGURE THAT OUT? THEY ARE CONTROLLED BY THE DRIVER YOU FREAKING IDIOTS!

    - The Daily Mail
    - 45 year old secretaries that read the daily mail. They generally wear far too much makeup and perfume, are SLIGHTLY overweight but not too fat; just enough to be on a permanent diet yet they "treat" themselves to a frikking mars bar every night on the train home from work, they have an expensive handbag that everyone else their age that reads the daily mail has, they make too many purchases from Boots, wear annoying blouses that dont flatter their figure and are all secretly racist.
    - Windows users that double click on URLs
    - New lightbulbs that blow the instant you turn them on
    - People who own 4 litre SUVS and then moan about the price of petrol
    - the voice of the woman on the telephone ticket line for Odeon cinemas. If I ever meet that woman, I am going to drive her face through a cheese grater. "WELCOME!!! TO THE ODEON CINEMA." The way she says "welcome" is the single most condescending moment in world history. Try it! Call a london odeon and hear her voice. WELCOME TO AN ETERNITY IN HELL IF I HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT!!! Man that annoys me.

Right. I'm off out on the piss now. I reckon I will be able to post another 40 after a few bevvies

    Mate, DONT START. Really.

That's another one. The damn announcements for EVERY station you stop in, FIVE TIMES! We are not autistic god damn it. And we can READ. You think Japanese tourists can hear that far-too-loud announcement any better than they can read the roman alphabet? Christ that annoys me.

Mind the gap is ok, because there are a few stations on the circle line where the announcement is both valid and useful.

ooh ooh i got a good one

Health compensation adverts. People think they just "get money" but what they don't realise is that you sue your own boss and notice the saying "no win no fee".... where does it say "if you win no fee" ? It doesn't, you get charged if you win the court case and if you do you'll probably get fired by your own boss. People don't seem to realise this

I think the whole advertisement business is just annoying.

Damn that was my gripe too - they seem to discover a new periodic element with a silly made up name every time they bring out a new wrinkle hiding polyfilla equivalent.

    - Claims Direct 'sue some poor sod 5 years after he tried to mop a floor and you landed on your fat arse because you can't read a sign' adverts.

    - Shop assistants who ask if they can help you when you are trying your hardest to look like you DON'T NEED ANY HELP. 'Yes I'd like some help choosing something thats entirely to my taste ', Tw@t.
