    There's always Euro 2016 in France.

    My personal hope is that by that time they will have implemented a video-replay referee with mandatory checks of all calls involving penalties and red cards.

    Thoroughly enjoyed the World Cup and looking forward to the Premier League season this year. I feel as well the World Cup has re-kindled a bit more interest in football for countries such as the US after their team doing fairly well this WC, espicially Tim Howard being promoted to their "Secretary of Defence" Hopefully that interest will stay alive and not dwindle.
