    Indeed, but I'm guessing someone would be better at leading and picking a team for a particular task when they know what that task involves, don't get me wrong I wasn't picking on our current cabinet office, although looking back at what i wrote it does come across like that, what i said was meant to show that knowledge of a particular subject seems to have little relevance when it comes to picking what politician does what job.

    Re: Unofficial Hexus Brexit Straw Poll - In, Out, Undecided?

    It should be brought up, just encase we stay. But nobody voting should do so without being aware of TTIP, and what that entails. (Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership)

    http://www.independent.co.uk/voices/...u-9779688.html

    Quite frankly, when Obama said we'd be at the back of the que for negotiations on a trade deal most thought is was a bad thing. But if this is what they've got in mind for the EU we don't want it.
    Obama is keen on getting this done before he leaves office. And no doubt the commission will try and force it through too.

    One of the key aspects is allowing what are called 'investor-state dispute settlements' allowing companys to sue governments when rules/regulations get in the way of profits. Canada, as part of the North American Free Trade Association is already feeling the force of these.

    http://www.huffingtonpost.ca/2015/01...n_6471460.html
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Invest...ute_settlement

    This could well be a very important issue, and it's worth a few moments of everyones time to check this out.

    Interview with the European minister for Trade.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vnOTyOjV4I4

    What's annoying once again though, is it appears the UK government is rather impotent over Obama and the EU on this one. Despite the fact it could have serious consequences for the NHS.
    It's good to see the French have some backbone in these discussions, lets hope that continues as Obama will no doubt put pressure on the commission going into the last few months of his presidency.

    IN - From the limited information I have gathered thus far I can safely state that the pros outweigh the cons, especially since many of the proposed benefits of a Brexit are completly unknowns right now.

    Who was that woman... I know Boris can act a bit of a clown but comparing him to Trump is a tad rich. The former has written a number of well received books, whereas the latter no doubt has trouble colouring between the lines.

    In any case I feel the best response to Obama was the following (albeit somewhat un-PC);
