    Digital camera, then get the right positioning (your probably gona have to take a LOT of pictures to get it perfect, then set it as your wallpaper, its probably going to look better with TFT screens though.. (thinner, more like a window)

    it should actually be possible to make the screens transparent in reality but they appear to just be the result of clever photography skills and a lot of spare time

    That's easilly done with two photographs, Photoshop and layering. It looks similar to the thread I posted a while back with 3 of me standing in my lounge
