    - Thatcher Sold of the cleaning staff, thats why the hosipitals are like they are now.

    - In this upcoming General Election you have two ways of Voting in Michael Howard, 1) Vote Tory, 2) Abstain. - DONT let them do it!

    Its quite simple Russ.

I'm voting for my own selfish interests, I don't like this government because it couldn't give a stuff about me.

If I was a homeowner who had seen the price of their property rise to stupid and unreasonable amounts, had kids at school, relying on benefits and free hospital treatment, or was someone who relied on hand-outs from the state and benefit, Id be head over heels in love with Tony and his gang.

However, I'm someone who is co-habiting with his partner, both working 42 hours a week, in rented accomodation, unable to afford our first property and
    paying more and more tax,

frankly I wish the ground would open up and swallow New Labour.

I don't think that if the tory's won country we would hit instant recession and that Mrs Thatcher would come back and take over from Howard, do you? It's a different party these days, just as the Labour party we have now is very different from the one we voted in 8 years ago. You can't blame a single government for a recession (i think im spelling that wrong) anyway, but you can in the way they handle things and Thatcher lot did not do the best of jobs. But managing a recession is a turd polishing excercise at the end of the day. But get a grip people, Thatcher messed a lot of things up but she is long gone. She was long gone before Labour took power. She does not even live in the UK these days. Get over it already.

And what are they doing to our country? Soon it won't even be politically correct to use the word "our" in that sentence.

This country's burgening underclass of chav's and wasters is wasting my money. If those work shy, theiving, burbury cap waring scum don't want to make any kind of positive contribution to this country, then f**k em. I honestly see Tory's as doing more for me than Labour who see to be doing more for them and not taking control of the growing situation these loosers are causing. It's seems to me that you either have to be poor or rich these days. The decent working class and middle class just continue to get screwed over and over.

But like I said, I might not even vote yet. Because while I prefer Tory policies i think Howard is a plank too. But then all polititions tent to be really. I must say, I like the way Howard really pissed of the Americans's. Really went up in my books there. I don't understand when Blair wants to give all our money too Europe and then shove his head up Bush's ass. It's embarasing.

Lib Dems will never get in so theres no real point in voting for them, they are similar to labour anyway

Only one left is conseravative, almost decided not to vote this time but then realised that i'm british, and need to try and save our country from ignorant prats like 'phony blair'...
The problem with this logic is that most 'chavs' will probably vote Conservative (or Veritas)...

Anti-immigration, anti-Europe, believing the Tory hype over hospital standards and tax cuts. Sound about right?

Lib Dems had my vote until they mention 50% tax on 100k, then I quickly jumped ship.

It's great the way that Lib Dem are geting more votes in this poll than conservative! That's awesome as I don't trust conservatives with our country.... but at least thier leader doesn't have huge ears, but he does still annoy me. Also Magret Thatcher still annoys me as she ripped us off and spent the extra money on a war. Anti-american government would be nice... what is lib dems policy on that?

The first time i voted i voted for Lib dems, i missed the bielections last year tho so didnt vote then, this year, i dunno... a few of the parties have got some things in their manifestos that i agree with, but i know that they're all lying through their teeth for votes, so they're all as bad as each other.

I would more than likely vote lib dems again though. Conservatives did nothing (in my view) positive the last time they were in power and the new labour party have been clearing up since then and making their own mess.

So in short, i dont know who of even IF i'll vote.

    LABOUR.

Never voted for anyone else, never will.

There are a lot of young people on this forum who will be voting for the first time, too young to remember the dark days of the Tory Empire, and thier evil leader Emperor Thatcher

Mind what you have learned, do not turn to the dark side..........

    VOTE LABOUR
