    out of interest.. if a thread has large pictures and a 56k user opens it, whats to stop them hitting 'stop' or 'back' or closing the damn thing?

    Well I'm on 512 atm, and I put use GPRS on a wireless device as it's my phone. Only use that for news really.

    It would be better if the logo and text were on one line, it takes up a third of the screen!!

    Sorry, didn't realise. I use my PC at work as 1024x768 () and my IE window is about half the size of the screen, so others don't see as well, and it only just covers a third (height wise) of the screen.

    I'll work on reducing it further if it is still too big now.

    I'll have to create a picture image at home, can't do it at work. If I try and align the text to the side of the image, one line is next to it, the rest is below.

    I know how to do it in HTML, but not on these boards...

    Oh, I remember JANET - 10Mbps was simply WONDERFUL, especially back in '99 when virtually everybody else was on 56k or less. (Less? you youngsters say...)

    This was ata time when Napster was free and fantastic, and we used Wrapster to hide non-music files as mp3s!
