Yep, it helps warn people they are about to hammer their connection.

It simply saves people time and isn't really that difficult to do is it?

No, suppose not. Was just curious at how many people still use 56k. By the looks of it, not many...

Why do you need a warning? When I used 56k on forums... If something didn't load that quickly I just pressed STOP or waited for it to load.
Not sure I ever had some very time critical forum surfing sessions.

Ooooh JANET, dribble dribble..... she was so lovely when I was at uni....but

she is such a fast, easily accessable, old sl*t these days though!

No more green text on black 14" monitors and 1 hr to logon. Shheeesh. No more disconnect's and access denied's for you lot...she's far too easy these days!

I'm using 1mbit at home currently as that's the fastest BB I can get where I live.
I don't mean to sound cold, or cruel, or vicious, but I am so that's the way it comes out.

you make out that pictures dont even open on 56k, well they do they just take abit of time, if you got a tab bar it dont matter what connection you are on cus if your waiting for a pic or something big open a new tab and look at something else while waiting. I still open stuff with 56k warnings on them and i think the warnings are useless cus i still get to see what ever is on there just a tad later than all the rest of you. So please dont make out that 56k is totally rubbish it does what i want of it you just have to be patient...... well im not saying the rest cus i think you no what im going to say.
