I don't think anyone can tell you what age you need to be to be in love, it's a very personal feeling and only YOU will know when you love someone.

Anyway, I will just say one thing; the first time hurts the most. I still remember my first g/f, cheated on me and got her new b/f and his mates to beat me up and throw me off a bridge. Hurt like hell (emotionally, not physically) for months after. But I got over it.

And it does get better, honest.

I've been in love before, this was just my first serious relationship.
But that does sound bad what happened.

Sorry, right, i know you've been through it rough, and yeah ur gfs (or exs) have treated you like crap etc, but there are some decent girls out there! And blokes can be just as harsh and play with your head as girls can! My bf included. Wont go into details cos it wouldnt be fair and would probably just make everything a billion times worse, but dont come out of this thinking that all girls are spawn of satan, it just takes a while to find the right one sometimes. If you do go about thinking all girls are going to be like your ex(s) then you'll end up driving the good ones away in the end cos you've convinced yourself they're going to cheat on you or leave you or it just "wont work".

Think about it, go out and have fun. It was the best thing i ever did when my ex shat on me i can tell you. Best year of my life that was!

    Ok, as you asked...

Well, first off, though its a massive cliche, there ARE loads more fish in the sea...

Second, though you were in love, it wont be the only time you'll ever be in love

Though it hurts now, it will ease off and in a few months, you'll be fine...

The thing to do is to get back in the saddle and have another go, sit around and mope and you'll just make life harder for yourself. Accept what's happened as happened and unchangeable (cos it IS unchangeable) then move on. And yes, you CAN move on, its just whether or not you want to have a mope or actually just draw a line under it all and get on with your life... you HAVE to do the latter sooner or later, so do it now.

Suck up those tears, dry your eyes and step into a bright new day, my friend. Life will always deal you blows... it's how you deal with them that counts.

Me, I get insanely angry for a bit, have a rage and rant, then just get on and carry on. Learn from the experience and carry on... s'all you can do in the end.

Oh, and if you see her again, be sure to be nice to her. No matter WHAT happened or happens, be nice... it reaps its own rewards, in whatever way you wish, everytime.

Yeah, well i used to think like that, because the relationship i just had was different, she was decent, and she never used to play with my head, and she was the right one, or at least i thought she was, she even thought i was for her . I see what your saying though. I'll be ok, its just time.

Ya, i know there is more fish in the sea but right now it really doesn't seem like it.
I have things i can do to get my mind off it.. going out to see friends, bike rides, stuff like that.
Don't know what else to say really, i'll get over it though, just does my head in..

I'm 24 and my longest is 84 minutes, including pizza, taxi and sexual goings-on.

In the immortal words of McDonalds: Der-der-der-der-der.... I'm loving it!

Anyway, you are too young to be in love \ there are plenty more fish in the sea \ at least she didn't get her mates to throw you off a bridge, etc.

    Chin up, sunshine.

I *knew* it; all those tight t-shirts you wear, and the obsession with looking like Vin Diesel... well, I'm not that sort of boy.
