Finding out your mobile number

Hey, i've already asked this in the mirc channel and no one knew, so i thought i'd ask on here cos there's a fair few that dont frequent the channel.

Anyways, what i want to know is what the code is to find out my phone number on my mobile.

I cant call out cos there's no credit so i cant do 1471 to find out. I dont have any of the documents it came with cos it's an ooooooold simcard. I dont want to top it up incase it's been blocked. I just want to know what it's number is.

So if you know can you post it here pls?

I can try it using a samsung E700 or a nokia 7210 - that's if the code you know is specific to either make.

Tried that, and it doesnt

it asks you for the voucher/credit/debit number first

nope, there's nothing in the fone books or the settings or anything. I just want the CODE please. I know it's possible, i just need to know what it is.

If you select debit card, then it should tell you your number before the transaction is complete, you have to verify it.

Once you find out, just hang up. You won't be charged.

Don't think you'll be able to get the number from the phone / sim card unless the phone has some sort of memory space where you manually add it. I know my Sony Ericsson phone does.

Have you called anyone with it? Perhaps look at the most recent couple of people you called before you ran out of credit and get them to look on their phone's call records and ring you to confirm?

its *#100# for me on vodafone, cant speak for it if its on 02 or something tho

put it in the nokia, go to your contacts, where it gives you the choice of search scroll up and you will find an entry marked my numbers, it should list it there.

Yep because you've gotta add them yourself

Unless I'm horribly mistaken there isn't a way of knowing unless it's entered manually for storage.

It *IS* possible to do cos i've seen it done, but i dont know how heh
