    Dont recall buying a single in the last 8 or so years

    I see singles as a waste, 3.99 from HMV for a CD with 1 track on ? When for 4 quid more from play you can get the full album, with maybe another 10 good songs in it, plus its just not easy to listen to a single, you have to keep chopping and changing, with an album, bung it in, and your sorted for a good hours worth of audio entertainment

    I find that some singles are worth buying, either because the single isn't on any of the artist's albums, the single includes an interesting promo video or because the B-sides are rather good. To be honest, I haven't bought one in about two years though.

    Ive never got over how the online stores can charge 99p for a low bitrate mp3. Its way over price. What do you think?
    That's still value better than £4 for the ringtone though...

    Ah 0iD me old mate, will the contant insult, retort, counter retort, counter-counter insult loop never end, between us?

    Shall we call it a day, bury the hatchet in a sleeping dog, whilst letting him lie, let bygones be bygones, and watch the water flow under the bridge, that we built, whilst agreeing that time is a great healer, call it a day, have no more of it, shake hands, and call it quits?

    Haven't bought a single on CD for ages, all about vinyl now.

    Last one I bought was earlier today, Mr. Scruff "Chicken In A Box"/"Spandex Man" 12" no., 429 of 500 on a limited pressing. Paid £8.99 for it from a local shop and don't regret it one bit.

    MP3? Who's selling chart music as MP3?

    AAC-with-DRM or WMA-with-DRM. Even RealMedia-with-DRM or ATRAC3-with-DRM. But MP3? Nope.

    I have only 1 single in my collection and laugh as you will I will tell you the name of it now ;

    Tori Amos - Professional Widow.

    Jest if you may but ignore the RUBBISH first track and play the Armand Van Helden remix instead. Its still a classic, even today and is a really great tune for livening up a party
