I can honestly say that I have never bought a chart single to add to my record collection. But I did buy an Anthrax 12" for my brother that did make it into the chart.

When I was younger I did make an occasional habit of buying special edition 12" singles from various bands, though they were all Metal Bands who generally wouldn't get into the charts

never really get singles anymore, last one was probably Offsprings 'Why dont you get a job' years ago - unless you count EPs, i just got Bullet For My Valentines - but thats only cos they aint got a full album out yet...Tend to buy albums from bands I know I like, either from being a long term fan or watching scuzz

Dont really care about the top40 tbh, its all rubbish anyway very rare that theres any decent music in it, its generally all *cringe* indie and RnB

I cant stand the term RnB any more. When was the last time you heard a RnB song that actualy was Rythum and Blues?

Last single I bought was a bunch of bargin basement jobs - 10p each for chemical brothers, jamiroquie and BT singles.
