    I *HATE* public speaking....with a PASSION!

I had to give 2mins of a 5 min group presentation, it was HORRIBLE. I think it was more because i didnt have a clue, i knew i'd mess it up, i also knew that the rest of my group would mess it up, but that didnt reassure me cos we were being marked on it, so it was just social suicide really.

I dont like speaking infront of my peers, or the public, formally cos i fluff my words in normal conversation, so i'd just look bloody daft in any sort of public speaking arrangement.

Those situations just fill me with an inevitable dread, so i try to avoid them at all costs.

Teaching is easy cause the people you're teaching know you're the 1 with the knowledge so they wont (on the whole) argue about the information you're imparting.

You are in charge, so say what you want, talk bollocks and they'll still believe it. My history teacher taught me that when he dictated a paragraph to us saying the suffrigette movement was futile. Everyone in the class copied it down and didn't question it.

Btw, i dont mind public speaking as long as i dont know the audience, otherwise i hate it.

I used to think it scared me, till i tried it and realised it doesn't bother me. I just talk, I dont think about it enough for it to bother me.

Talk to yourself if u need to, and if they want to listen they can do so.(make sure u face them though)

I scout the audience for pretty ladies and talk towards them
