There are prob people out there that will try this, that NEED to know if there is an afterlife or not & being able to report on it after... then this brings up more things, think of the backlash if someone went though with this, was DEAD for 3+ hours or even days and then comes back saying 'unlucky everyone, there is no afterlife!' or even 'there is an after life - god is real!' even if he didnt see anything but said he (or she) did... woah this could turn nasty

Although I'm pretty sure many religious types will find an excuse for why there's no heaven/hell etc etc; maybe something along the lines of not being able to remember the afterlife when you come back or something...still it would sevearly weaken the religous powers control over people which can only be a good thing

**note** I don't want/intend to insult anybody who is religous on here, and I apologies if I have; these are just my personal views, I have great respect for those who have true belief in any religion, I just personally see it as a control measure that has been used for centuries but heh go figure, each to their own

I realised this earlier when discussing it with a friend, then i thought, what if it works with every other animal except humans? does that then prove the existance of God?

As a strong athiest, i think this is gonna prove that an afterlife doesn't exist.
