    Great news for London & the UK in general. Tough if you're french, but hey, the best city won

    PS. Think i should start looking for brick laying, elecrtician and plumbing courses.

    I believe all contractors were already in place prior to the descision, now that its confirmed things are going to go ahead...LOADS of money to be made.
    even the stockmarket went up (lucky me!!)

    well, the whole thing only serves to prove our national superiority over the french; trafalgar's re-enactment, the 2012 olympics...I could go on but really, a nation should know when its beat.

    Well that depends whether the games turn a profit- otherwise the increased profits of the construction industry will come out of the pockets of the taxpayer.
