Hmmm - how about black lace?
Seriously - good for a laugh to finish off!
Heh they're not too bad. It could be worse, I could have Michael Bolton's greatest hits.Originally Posted by Spud1
1 we did get asked for last night was Marliyn Manson's remix of Closer... so I'm going to see if this illusive mix can be found
Failing that... his version of Tainted Love?
Oh god no please, thats yet another example of butchering the classics.
Dresden Dolls ftw
Also worth checking out The Music.
The Caped Crusader :-)

For a bit of Prog try Dream Theater. Everyone of their members is a virtuoso in their given talent and on one of their albums I'm told they wrote the entire thing down before picking up an instrument.
Their new album Octavarium is very good.
Majority of stuff i have is rock....Aphex Twin are cool, haven't heard of Boards Of Canada, will check them out, i like all sorts of stuff tbhOriginally Posted by klarrix
Ooooh talking about older stuff... no one mentioned Adema, Godhead, Spineshank and Static X
thats because static x only have 1 good song

Yeap he's got all the usual's like Tool, Killswitch Engage, Fear Factory, Distillers and stuff like that just the not so commonly heard of
Cheers for the suggestions - now he's got a list of about 20 names/albums to aquire
(hed)pe rock, particularly their first album, newer stuff is soso, Some probot, Dillenger escape plan, and if you want fairly random (no one i know irl has heard of them, but then again most of my mates are into stinking indie crap) then Boy Hits Car are fantastic, quite upbeat but still good for a nice mosh.
Yeah... I've "borrowed" his Hed albums to "convert" for me to listen too occasionally Not too bad ( this is coming from a born again raver don't forget.... )
Thirding the Nightwish suggestions, just play Crownless and see what happens.
