Post count reset - please make sure what you post is quality - we are not here for people to leech free shipping - its not in the spirit of Scan's offer to HEXUS readers.

Please do not message me about Scan Free shipping, I no longer work for HEXUS.net

    Matt.
I wasn't aware I was making spam posts - I simply tried joining in different forums and getting in the spirit of it

I even tried giving advice to some people. Oh well, I guess I will have to wait then until I am accepted into the community - but why reset my posts - I was only trying to get into the spirit of it all and I thought my posts were ok The free P&P wasn't the reason I joined - the forums was recommended to me. The free P&P was obviously an advantage, but not a reason - it's not like it's loads of money were talking about here.

But, I will respect your wishes and see how I get on

I was chatting to David M from scan and we were discussing the post count limit of 25posts and it got me thinking about the post count.
In my opinion 25posts is very easily done and a higher post count thats slightly harder to archeive would mean that some people (the people who genuinly like hexus) will reach that post count and stay on because they enjoy it so much where as others who just want the post count but cant think of things to talk about or have nothing much to say will eventually just give up so they cant take advantage.

Thats my opinion any way - iam guessing HEXUS have messures in place for this any way..

while i think the free postage deal with scan is absolutely great i dont think ill be ordering from scan again even with it, simply because they use city link.

city-link once again, told me that my delivery was out in the van today. So i took the opportunity to do some much needed work in the garden while keeping a look out for the van because i cant hear the front door from where id usually be in the house.

At about half past six, i checked online to see what was going on, and found that theyd left a card at my address message and that i wasnt in. Which is patently untrue, and this isnt the first time either.

Exactly the same thing has happened twice before, and both times upon ringing them they told me it was because the driver had bunked off for the day and that they had fired him/her. I've no doubt that i will get the same prepared excuse when i ring them again tommorow. Either they only employ muppets, or they are lying, both are reasons that i will never order from a company that uses them again... even if the postage is free

    yes...citylink are a tad lazy.
I ordered some posters of some shots I'd taken, these were vitally important for a press release for the calendars I'd taken the pictures for (some I made into A2 prints, looked awesome!). anyway, paid for next day delivery expected on Tueday at the latest. checked online tuesday morning - goods loaded onto van at 7am...- waited, and waited and waited...
    called up 'where's my package?'
'he's on the way, he'll be there by 5.30.'
'so I've been waiting all this time for you to tell me this?'
so I waited, 6pm rocked up, no parcel...
THE NEXT DAY(!) I called up, 'where's my urgent parcel?'
'oh, sorry, our driver started work late and didin't have time to deliver it yesterday'.
    'WTF!!! '
    'He's on his way now'
    20 mins pass
    'where is he?'
    'stuck in traffic...almost there...'
    'like f@*^...

it arrives, over a day late. an apology? no. the excuse this time? couldn't find the house.
like f&*@, I've had stuff delivered here before, yet another victim f this 'couldn't give a toss' culture.

on a diffeernt note I still can't get the free shipping thing to work

righty ho david, I'll do that when I place the order. I was in contact with lee recently to see if it could be worked out, he had a go but unfortunately the little gremlins persisted. its nothing urgent, it can wait 'til the new year (heading away for a bit) so I'll do it when I'm back
    cheers

lol Ok, I'm looking for a new SD card for me camera (I underestimated how fast a 5mp camera can fill a 256 card) and Scan have a 1gb one for £32.07, with free shipping this is the cheapest anywhere (unless anyone knows differant?)

i've tried signing up for this and I can't see what I'm doing wrong, I've followed the guide in the initial thread and everytime I attempt to sign up with the scan free delivery on their site, I get "your account cannot be found", I enter my account number correctly. My friend has signed up perfectly fine and his post count is alot lower than mine so it can't be that :s.
