I turned to the dark side... and whipped out my debit card.

Am fiddling with my home network and would you believe it, this comes on today only:
    http://www.scan.co.uk/products/produ...oductID=254393

Taking a further look i find this for £17.57! Thats my parent's bedroom tv sorted.
    http://www.scan.co.uk/products/produ...oductID=254513

Then i remembered its time to get a new headset
    http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...roductID=96492

Add a set of rechargeable AAAs and my card is 85 quid lighter!

Hmmmmmmmm - it let me register fine yesterday and now when I try to log in I'm getting "Your HEXUS account was not found.
Please try again, ensuring your details are entered correctly."

Now I've double checked these and still can't get in. Poo on toast!

Being the numpty that I am I forgot I wanted a cheapo optical mouse for my old pc... Not the one to order it on its own I call Scan (get through straight away i must add). One minute later the mouse is added to the order! How ACE is that?!

Scan - not just a pretty face (the free postage)! But also good customer service.

Oh, and I've started a new thread about the freeview in the bargains forum.

This is an absolutelly fantastic idea. I have used scan for years now as i have found them to be one of the cheapest online sites there is. Also found their tech support to be absolutely brilliant, just wish they had done this a few years ago, would have saved me hundreds in postage

I have to add my piece that I have been using scan (especially the todayonly site) for a year or more and often found them cheapest including postage. This offer should make far more items worth buying. Anyone viewing this and unsure should look at www.todayonly.co.uk every day and see if any interest them.

I think £50 min and Scan haved already said they'd give or take a fw quid, surely that's fair ?....... Scan must be losing out on a fair bit to give people this offer, people need to appreciate that

Look after Scan, don't abuse the system, they'll look after you

Imo judging by some of the responses i think we should grateful the min order is only £50, want to moan? moan at the people who abused their generous offer

    i agree with shelley

if they dont put a minumum on then people will buy the today onlys and thats all and scan will be losing a fortune. people will just register in a morning and spam 25 times to get free delivery on an already good offer.

i think £50 is a bit much, especially when some of the today only bargains are under £20.

on a side note i feel oblogated to spend money to say thank you. grrrr damn you scan
