It took me ages to find my User ID.

I went to PM myself and found it as the last 5 digits of the URL.

Hopefully this will help anyone else looking for their user ID.

I wanted to find my hexus member ID but it doesn't appear in the link as detailed on the instuctions,
instead of seeing userid=xxxx at the end of the url I see my username.html.

The instuction page needs updating.

Hovering over ones "find all posts by username" in user Cp works though.

EDIT by Saracen - for the benefit of others reading this with the same question.

Look to the left <<<<< where your UserName is. Click that. A menu drops down.
Highlight the "Send a Private Message to .... " option and without clicking look at your browser status line (usually at the bottom of the screen).

You should see a line that ends in u=xxxxx where xxxxx = Userid, such as http://forums.hexus.net/private.php?do=newpm&u=35224

Hi all,

Also seem to be struggling to find this ID.
Think the easiest way is to click on your profile in the Forum where you posted a message, then to hover over 'find all posts by (your profile name)'
