The reason for this is that there appears to be a influx of people signing up and then placing orders for less than the £20 ex VAT threshold. Also, some of the more regular forum visitors also need to have a quick recap of the rules as well.

i just made another scan order with free postage, and thought id post to say how much i appreciate it, especially as a large item it would have been rather expensive postage.

Id also thought id say that i find the text message on dispatch to be a really nice touch that no other company seems to bother with but is something that i find to be very helpful and definately worth scan continuing with.

one thing that bugging me is that i'm sure i've previously ordered from scan and yet i couldnt be found on their DB anymore. Guessing they purge now and then. It has been a while

For the signup... One suggestion is that you add in somewhere in the profile your id number. I had to really hunt to find the info.

I got it in the end by PM'ing myself. It isnt exactly easy to find.

Now i just gotta try and decide if my next pc will be AMD or Intel.
