cheers for the sympathy of some of ya, but the ones who say i deserve it...well...... i'm under so much stress at the moment, a lot of pressure from different things, and havin a smoke is the only way i can deal with it really. i know its escapism, but it works for me at the moment. and before you all scream "you're dependent on it!", i am not, and could prove this anytime.
Maffu - i am not asking for it, i've never been in a serious accident through gettin stoned. it makes me more careful and aware. the worst i've ever done is step off the bus before it stopped and went head-first into the bus shelter.
Beenster - yeh, i just got a caution. basically, if i ever get caught again, it'll be goin to court, which would suck.
i've just gotto try and regain my parents trust now. i had a long talk with my mom last night and tried to explain my situation, but i think it needs time. i now feel awful, both physically and mentally, but at least its got me out my computing test . peace.

I'd recommend the money you spend on the G would be better off going toward some Yoga lessons if you're stressed.

nyp, I'm sorry that you got busted for it - but you won't do that again in public will you? The caution sucks, but it'll only be recorded for a year, and it gets wiped after that, so it could be worse. I have to admit, in the same way that I'm not comfortable with people drinking in the street/park/carpark/whatever, I'm not hugely keen on people doing ganj in the street - I don't personally object to the stuff, just don't do it where you'll frighten the horses

I think all parents should be notified of their childrens actions up till a certain age (I don't know how old you are), even pregnancy, the doctor should inform their parents.

I love the way that some people have shown him no sympathy for what he's had to go through. Yes what he did was illegal, im under 18 and i've posted whats happened to me while completely wrecked and you all have a laugh and a joke about it, if i get arrested for under age drinking will you act the same way to me as you have to him?

answer no you won't, because drinking is more socially acceptable even though it causes more problems socially more fatalities per year than any other drug (except perhaps nicotine).

I think some people on this forum need to pull they're heads out of the sand on this one, just because you don't enjoy it doesn't make him an idiot.

I feel really bad for ya mate, thats really harsh. but you need to put in perspective, your parents will get over it, when I lived at home my mam walked into my room late one evening because I was playing counter-strike and it was a bit loud and catches me sat in fromnt of the PC with a massive joint in my mouth. At the time she was pissed, mainly because its her house and stuff but she got over it. Ina couple of years you will be living in your own place and you will be able to have a toke anytime you want and you will wonder why you were even so pissed off about this.

i went to the gym, it sucked. most boring thing i've ever done in my life. i'm 17, and that means i'm legally responsible in the eyes of the law, thus meaning my parents should not have been notified as i asked for them not to be. they only found out because some dozy fat idiot of a copper couldn't type my address in properly, and had to phone them up when i was in the interogation thing. the b*stard actaully seemed pleased by the look of terror on my face when he told me they'd be there in 20 minutes.

No, and i don't need to either because i view it as pointless. Having also studied the damage and how much it messes your insides up that will put me off forever and a day. And don't say 'alcohol' messes you up, because it dosn't. If you drink it in healthy amounts its actually a good thing for your body not a bad thing.
