my current mouse mat i stole from school. i never really saw a mouse mat as being something to invest in, but is it worth it?/
what mats so you have? and what do you recommend?

i have a ratzpad from YEARS ago, it does the jobby. dont like using anything else.
I bought one off ebay recently. It glows up blue/purple, and has a 4 port USB hub on the back.
It's called light mouse mat,

dont have a mouse-mat and havent used one in ages i prefer the table top and an optical mouse. But if i was getting a mouse-mat i wouldent have one all the same colour because of the constant juddering of the mouse that is why i dont have or use a mouse-mat now.

Icemat v2 here. Works flawlessly with my mx1000

i was thinking about an icemat, i just dont knwo if i can justify spending over £20 on a mouse mat
ooh it is worth it..your mouse will glide/float, making it less of a strain on your wrist. It also makes your desk look neater, and has the added bonus of reserving enough space to use your mouse (I have a cluttered desk)

I don't use a mouse mat, I like lots of mousing space
You dont need much space once you've got an icemat, as you can increase the sensitivity

ps Elmo, come to think of it, mine has a similar use
i just use heavely polished wood table
but i can recommend getting some old (but relatively clean) carpet and cutting it into a square shape
it makes a great pad for laser mice
I have a Everglide DKT 30cm*25cm takes up half my desk but good for gamming got it from oc.
