God damn why do I have to be at university when the only interesting thing that will happen in Hertfordshire occurs?

I've flicked through my shots, and haven't got any showing applicances other than London/Herts, although I'm sure there were some. My mate was with me, and I'll be reviewing his shots sometime later, so maybe he's got something different-ish..

I live in Tunbridge Wells and was awake at 6am because my clock broke and I didn't realise how late it had got, but I don't remember hearing a thing, how did they hear it in Holland?!

Thanks to Unreal and Funkstar for the compliments - but really I'm just glad I was there to see it and be able to get the shots. I'll probably go back to a few of the shots again at some point - some of the post-processing is quite ropey as I rushed to get them on the Intarweb...

It was freaky quiet on most of the roads this morning. Over 200 local schools are closed, so the only buildup was from the few closed roads/junctions, and the people 'panic-buying' petrol..

A temperature inversion, (warmer air at higher altitudes) held the soundwaves (and smoke) at lower altitudes.

PMSL! Unfortunately, perfect framing/angle of shots wasn't top priority with crowd control and police breathing bown your neck..

Oh dear... the smoke changed path overnight. The time is now 3PM, and the lights are on because it's so dark.
